At NAN Glass & Design we create playful, one-of-a-kind glass artworks that not only catch the eye but also tell a story. Among our signature pieces are the whimsical glass birds called “Zttesje Pieterkes”, which humorously reflect aspects of human behavior. Are the artworks one-of-a-kind or also available in series?
Most of our glass artworks are truly one-of-a-kind creations. However, our “Zttesje Pieterkes” are produced on an ongoing basis. Even so, no two birds are ever the same: each one is crafted with wings made of opal-mottled glass, giving it a unique texture and expression. This way, every piece maintains its own personality and character, even within the collection.

At this moment, we no longer offer custom-made pieces. Every artwork in our collection is ready-made, ensuring consistent quality and preserving the unique artistic character of each piece. This approach allows us to focus on creating distinctive designs without slowing down our creative process.

What are the average delivery times for an artwork?
Delivery times depend on the type of artwork. For unique ready-made pieces, the average processing time is between 1 and 2 weeks, provided the item is in stock. Please note that international shipping may take additional time depending on the destination and courier services. We always inform you in advance about the expected delivery schedule.
Are the artworks suitable for both indoor and outdoor use?
Our glass artworks are primarily designed for indoor display. While some pieces may withstand sheltered outdoor environments, we recommend keeping them indoors to preserve their quality, color, and delicate craftsmanship.
